Hong Kong

While in Hong Kong I checked out the Leica Shops…First I found the Leica Shop in Times Square.  Very small, mostly a X1 Shop.    If you know of good Leica Shops in Hong Kong, please let me know.

The best place I found was New Francisco Photo in Kowloon next to the Shangri-La Hotel in Wing On Plaza.   A ton of stuff, lots of old and collectable items on hand.

Dave, next time when you are in HK, stop by 9days (www.9days.hk) in Tsim Sha Tsui. They have a good collection of 2nd hand and new Leica items. I bought quite a few items from them and am quite happy with their service. Humphrey

Try the official Leica shop at IFC2 and Tin Cheung in Stanley Str Central. Tin Cheung also have a new general camera shop in K11 Tsim Shat Tsui.

Hi Dave,

I was fascinated by your photo memo trip to China. Also Enjoyed the Lego photo session with Kai who might become a pro like his Dad. The bullied angle shots with the two of you were cute. The Bently photo on the China street really highlighted the new wealth in China. It reminds me of the number of Mercedes I have seen and counted in Kyoto but I never even thoght of taking a photo of one. Thanks for reminding the rest of us, your grateful audience, of the world around us. Graham
