Hurricane Irene Aftermath

It’s hard to not feel like Mother Nature is bullying me.  I left the earthquakes of Japan and the flash flooding caused by monsoons on my recent trip to New Delhi for the safety and comfort of the USA only to be met with earthquakes and a hurricane.   Thankfully I will be heading home on Thursday…and being welcomed home by a typhoon when I arrive in Tokyo.

Today’s Configuration: FujiFilmx100.

I went for a drive on Sunday to see the aftermath of Hurricane Irene…   I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Hurrican Irene DamageHurrican Irene DamageHurrican Irene DamageHurrican Irene DamageHurrican Irene DamageHurrican Irene DamageHurrican Irene DamageHurrican Irene DamageHurrican Irene Damage

Woah. That’s a pretty strong storm. I’ve seen trees uprooted every time there’s a storm here, but it seems pretty unusual to see it in the U.S. Glad you and your family is ok there Dave. Have a safe trip home.
