Catching up with Friends
My friend Humphrey and I are very similar. We both work for Information Technology companies, travel across Asia for work, and shoot Leica cameras. He came up with this great photography project last year where he shoots the view out of his hotel window during each business trip. It is really interesting to look at over the year. Here is my first hotel view this year… Causeway Bay in Hong Kong.

Me in the mirror…

I like this one…

Apparently there is an issue with people peeing in the stairwells in Hong Kong…

During a busy week I had a chance to catch up with some friends for dinner… We went to Wooloo Mooloo Steakhouse in Lang Kawi Fong…

Meet Michael…

Meet Jerrie…

Meet Karl… in town from Tokyo.

Meet Yuko…

…and a tired Dave after a long week.

The cars in Hong Kong are amazing…

Someone was kind enough on Twitter to let me and Street Photographer Eric Kim to know we were both in the same city for once. He is in Hong Kong teaching one of his workshops. I had a bit of free time and was able to catch up with Eric. It was good to chat and compare notes on what we do, what works for us and what does not. He is a very passionate down to earth guy.

Eric was trying out my Leica Noctilux f/0.95…

I took a few shots of Eric with my Noctilux for his Facebook Profile picture…

Thanks for stopping by… check back soon for the results from my Hong Kong Photowalk!
