I had a little free time on Friday evening to get out and shoot a bit in Hong Kong…

He works in a ‘creative office’…. check out the Teddy Bear couch in the waiting area at reception.

Meet Chris…

Shooting in the Hong Kong metro…

What a genius idea… rather than continuing to stuff people in by pushing them into the train Hong Kong has a sign that says ‘stop’ when the train is full. Why haven’t the Japanese thought of this concept?

I headed over to Mongkok with Chris to meet up with a group for a photowalk I hosting…

We were a bit early so we circled the station a few times to kill a bit of time. I haven’t been to this side of the island before. It is a very interesting lively area…

Time for the meet up… We had about 15-20 show up for the photowalk. About 50% Leica Shooters!

I just love this Maserati…

Let the photowalk begin… I’ll post up the shots soon. Thanks for stopping by!

That last shot – wow. Just wow. I adore the way you work the light and dark balance in urban settings – keep it up!
Thanks Bill. The strap is silk and it is made from a Japanese company called Artisan and Artist. They sell them online everywhere if you Google it. I use their leather case I wrap around my M9 body as well.
Dave, Nice title image replacement….
I have been going through your site for the last couple of months. Your images are fantastic.
Question: in the last shot on this page http://shoottokyo.com/2011/08/03/singapore-2/ I noticed that you and your friend Charles are using the same camera strap. I like it. Who makes it? What is it called? And where can I get one?
Thanks,
Bill
love your work..
