I am spending the weekend in San Francisco. It is great to get a chance to explore San Francisco as I haven’t been here since I was 18. One of my colleagues and her friend joined me for a few hours on Friday for a little shooting.

I love the twinkling stars in the coffee shop!
Len – I actually used my .95 lens for the drinks. The metadata is always wrong as Lightroom never reads Leica aperture correctly. The speed was 1/125th.
Galina – I will travel here often and hold more photo walks so you only missed THIS one…there will be more.
Carlos – It is a very cool city. I really like it.

A mate of mine spent a few months working in San Francisco and describes it as the best city in the world, period. He’d lived in NY before and has spent some time in LA since, but maintains SF is the way forward. Now I really want to go there…
I was lucky enough to visit SF earlier this year……it’s a wonderful city and great for photographers……

Great images Dave. It looked like a beautiful weekend to be in San Francisco. The graffiti shots were outstanding as were the jazz bar. The bokeh in the drink shots is very good, you must be using that 1.2 lens, what speed did you use for the beer bottle?
