Back in Golden Gai
This is the 3rd and final leg is my fantastic night of photography last week. I wish every night of photography for me is like this. I was just having a great time. Didn't have a lot on my mind. Scenes and images just seemed to appear in front of me. I am so happy with the images that I was able to produce. Today’s configuration: Leica M Monochrom with a Summicron 28mm f/2.0
As we entered Kabuki-cho as we crossed over to Golden Gai I saw this girl and had to stop her for a photo. I loved her features and she was more than willing to stop and pose for me. I love the way her hairs sticking up stand out from the background.
So was this guy... His girlfriend less so. She was either annoyed with me or embarrassed to have her photo taken.
Ah..I'm not sure either. Let's just leave this one alone.
One day I'm going to check out the Robot Restaurant/Bar. I don't get out enough and this time I wasn't willing to dedicate 90 minutes of my life to this. I have a lot to do!
Golden Gai! I love this place...
Reminds me of my youth. I think I have seen the Ramones 10 times. "Gaba Gaba we accept you we accept you your one of us..."
Travelers are charge free...
Ah the Photographer's Bar! Sorry no maps or directions but if you are clever you can find it pretty easily or go shooting with me and we might end up there.
The more I shoot the Monochrom/28mm combo the more I love it.
Beer is better when someone else is pouring it for you. It is a scientifically proven fact.
...but it is better with friends.
I love the roof of this place...
and the walls...
Some of my new friends. I blend in so well.
Thanks for stopping by today...
