Lunch at the Tokyo American Club
I decided that I had enough of sushi and Subway sandwiches for lunches and decided it was time for a road trip today...to the new Tokyo American Club. It was a good way to get out of the office for a few hours and took some of my team at work with me as a way to say "thanks" for all of their hard work.

The Tokyo American Club! The new club is beautiful. People all join the club for different reasons but for me it offers great family activities, has a great gym (which I don't use enough), great restaurants, video rental, and a great place to socialize with and make business contacts. It also has reciprocal relationships with Clubs all over the world that you can use when you travel. The club has about 3,500 members from 50+ nations. It's not just for Americans as the name might imply.
For those that don't speak Japanese, this is a clever play on the Kanji "東京" which means "Tokyo" where they are spelling out TAC; Tokyo American Club.
We ate lunch at The American Bar and Grill. This is a view of the Winter Garden. The new club has been cleverly broken into a Business/Adult side and a Family side to allow for a nice quiet adult atmosphere to enjoy time with adults and conduct business. The family side it built with all of the things you need to allow children to play and run around and enjoy themselves.
This is the roof top pool. Isn't this gorgeous? I need to come back on a day where the sky is nice and blue and shoot this again.
The new club as a great gym as well. I keep meeting to start regularly working out. If you see me getting out of shape in any of my pictures please feel free to ridicule me so I go to the gym...

The American Club is right next to the Russian Embassy so there is lots of security...
I know there are holidays in many parts of the world this week so I hope you are getting some time off. For me, I am house hunting and shooting photos this weekend. If you are doing anything interesting or celebrating some holidays, please feel free to leave a comment and share what you are up to.
