Around Jiyugaoka Station

Around Jiyugaoka Station

I like to go for a walk and try to tell the story of an area.  It is fun to do little walk abouts like this and see if you can give people a feeling for what they would experience there.   It has been a while since I shot around Jiyugaoka Station so I set that as my target this time. I also haven't shot my Leica M9-P for a while so I grabbed that along with my Noctilux 50mm f/0.95.   This is my far my favorite lens and camera combination to shoot with.  I really enjoy going and shooting one camera type for a while as I am always pleasantly reminded how much I like other cameras in my collection.

Today’s configuration: Leica M9-P with a Noctilux 50mm f/0.95

Now this scene had me confused for a while.  A stretcher just seemed to be sitting in the middle of the street.  No patient, no ambulance, no EMTs and no one seemed to notice or care.  Strange.  Then I remembered it's Tokyo.  The ambulance couldn't fit down the street.  The EMTs were up or down stairs retrieving the patient and needed to leave their stretcher as it didn't fit in the little elevator.
