Leica Summilux 35mm f/1.4

The Leica Summilux 35mm f/1.4 is the fastest Leica 35mm lens available for Leica M mount cameras.  It is always on one of my Leicas and is my most shot lens of all of my lenses.   The Leica Summilux 35mm was the first Leica lens I purchased and remains one of my favorites.

The lens is light, fast and versatile making it one of my most reached for lenses when I am going for a walk.  It also easily fits into my briefcase making it the perfect lens to bring along to a work lunch or dinner.  Leica recently made a newer version of this lens adding a floating element but for me this is the perfect 35mm.   Have a look at what I have been able to produce with this magnificent lens.

35 shots at 35mm with the Leica Summilux 35mm f/1.4.

Thanks for all your kind assistance. You really enjoy your life thru photography. If you come to Bali and Java, pls let me know and I shall show you around happily and enjoy the time together,I have 3 sons, and one of them also name Dave after my best friend from U.K..I have read a lot of articles from Steve huff, kenrockwel and yourself.I have bought also the apo 90mm f2-amazing quality and super elmar 21 F3.4-super sharp!!,and love them. But,I need to buy the 50mm lense.
You said you were not happy of the first 50mm and bought the Nocs. Was that before the new 50 lux ASPH came out?.Which 50mm and why?.Would you tell me?.Someone says the Nocs is too difficult to focus on the wide open manually?.Is that true.I don’t mind heavy and big by the way,I used to carry big lense.I am concerned more that quality.Honestly,I must see the photos you took on the 35mm luxvs the nocs carefully.Have you tried the 50mm f1.4 asph? Or,the apo summicron 50mm f/2.What is your experiences on the 50mm with leica?.Thanks and enjoy life photography. Please call me Yono.
