Pushing TMAX 400

Pushing TMAX 400

As a follow up to my post on pushing film I though I would share a few more examples of pushing film.  As I mentioned when I am traveling I often carry a second film camera with high ASA film or pushing film to a high ASA.  When it starts to get dark I switch to my second camera body.   This time I was pushing TMAX 400 to 1600. I was in Singapore a few months back to speak a the National University's MBA Program and was lucky enough to find time to have dinner at my favorite restaurant Mag's Wine Kitchen.   This is a quiet unassuming out of the way place that is absolutely fantastic.   You are literally eating in the kitchen.   I usually get the swimmer crab salad or Hokkaido scallops to start and have Black Pork as my main dish.   They have a fabulous wine selection and it's best to let them pick a bottle for you.   I have probably eaten here 20 times and I always look forward to going back.

Today’s configuration: Leica M6 with various Leica lenses shot on TMAX 400@1600.

I also had a chance to catch up with my friend Barry while in Singapore.   I met Barry through his wife Ann when they were living in Tokyo.   They are a lovely couple.

The Bakeshop in Jiyugaoka.   Still my favorite place to pick up bagels in Tokyo.  The owner moved to Brooklyn to learn how to make them.  I love how the Japanese do things like that.
