Shoot San Francisco

Shoot San Francisco

I arrived in San Francisco this morning off the ‘red eye’ from Tokyo and immediately hosted a San Francisco Photowalk.  I met up with my friend Kathy, whom I met at the Jay Maisel Workshop, and her daughter Morgan for lunch.   They are in San Fran for the weekend having a mother/daughter weekend.   Kathy is such a lovely person.  It is always great to get to see her and it was great to meet her daughter.

I was hosted a photowalk so after lunch we went to meet the group… We had a great turn out of about 50 people or so.

Great photos and nice people with nice cameras.
Are you taking both M6J and M9-P with you most of the time?

  • http://www.shoottokyo.com Dave

I was shooting both but these are just M9-P photos. I need to get my film pictures developed.

Dave, I LOVE that shot of “The Man In Red Above Ground” with the man in red pointing down to the sign. EPIC street photography!

Thanks for inviting us! I had a great time! It was my first photowalk and I really enjoyed it. Too bad me and my husband couldn’t stay until the end but still it was a great time while we were there.

Awesome shots, Dave. Thanks again for the walk. Great fun.

The mother and daughter duo have a really lovely camera collection. A couple of them have been sitting on my shopping list but I’m still waiting for one that’s in a good condition.

Those cameras are really bulky though. Kudos to the ladies for hauling them around.

Can’t wait to see the photos from others who went to the walk, especially the film ones!
