An early morning walk...

I have to say that NoroVirus completely wiped me out.     I went to the office on Friday.   I am looking forward to a long 4 day weekend to rest and catch up on some things.    Monday is the Emperor's birthday and Tuesday is Christmas.   3 more days in the office and then off for another week for the New Year.    I am looking forward to some downtime and spending time with my family.   I am also looking forward to having some free time to myself to go out and do some shooting.  I have lots of film I need to shoot! After a lot of rest and a few days working from home I ventured out for a morning walk to explore the world post-Noro.    It was nice to get out in the cool fresh winter air after a week of staying inside.   I went to this great little temple not far from my house.

Today's configuration:  Leica M9-P with a 50mm Noctilux f/0.95

I noticed that many of the graves had beers or saki bottles on them left as offerings to the deceased...

We have been having the hardest time with internet connections at my house.  I think my house must be built of iron or something.  It is nearly impossible to get a signal from room to room.    I have many repeaters now to make sure I can get a signal in every room....even in the bathroom.

My company just did a big swap from Blackberries to iPhones.  I am happy to be 100% Apple now with my two iPhones, iPad, 15 inch MacBook Pro, 17 inch MacBook Pro and cinema display.  We also have another iPhone, 3  iPads and a 13 inch MacBook in the house.

I also upgraded my personal iPhone to 5.  I know there has been a lot of flack on the new iOS6 but I love it.   I really love the VIP feature in email.  I am on a massive kick to keep my email clean.   I get a lot of emails between my personal mail, ShootTokyo and my work email  It is really easy to wake up with 100+ new emails in my inbox.  It is nice to be able quickly filter in VIP mails that I want a quick reply to .
