Florida
I am taking a few days off from work after my very heavy travel schedule. I am looking forward to some much needed downtime to relax and clear my head. I kicked off my few days off with a photowalk around Nezu, Yanaka and Ueno in Tokyo yesterday with a great group. I shot 5 rolls of film so look for some posts in the coming days. I stayed very close to Chinatown on my last trip to San Francisco and enjoyed a few walks through the streets...
Today's Configuration: Leica M6 Millennium with various lenses shot on Fuji Acros 100 Film
I swung by Florida on my way to Sydney from San Francisco to visit my Parents. I actually haven't spent a lot of time in Florida. I went to Key West a lot when I was in the US Coast Guard. My last company used to have a lot of meetings at Disney World but I haven't spent much time in and around Florida.
I enjoyed seeing the wildlife but shooting wildlife there exploses the range limitations of range finder lenses. I really didn't want to get much closer with my 50mm.
I took a short walk on Siesta Beach. Voted the most beautiful beach in America. It was so bright and windy! I love the contrast in the photos...
Thanks for stopping by today...
