Leaving Bangkok
A short but busy trip I'm leaving Bangkok en route Jakarta. I haven't been to Jakarta before so excited to see somewhere new. I really hope I have time to get out and shoot a bit of Jakarta. I tried to get out a second night for photography but the weather wasn't having it and the rain poured down just as I was about to go out...
Today's configuration: Sony A7s with a Leica Summicron 28mm f/2.0
I didn't have a chance to use but the hotel had a very cool roof top pool that I wanted to check out. Infinity pools are so cool.
I passed this place on the way to dinner last night. What a great name 'Wine - I love you'... and yes it rained last night as well.
I guess it seems the bulk of my shooting in Bangkok will be at the airport.
Sadly I am not flying a Star Alliance carrier this leg of my trip but thankfully the flight is empty so my 'Gold' benefits don't really help. When you are on a packed plane the benefits can make all the difference.
I confirmed with my printer my books will be delivered on 9/16. I'll start shipping them that day. I expect most will be shipped within a few days. I just need to sign them all first. You can preorder now if you haven't.
