Phnom Penh Cambodia
I spent a few days photographing in and around Phnom Penh Cambodia last week for a charity. It was a very intense few days. It was a very emotional place to work. More on that later... I shot over 2,000 photos in two days. I spent the last 36 hours pouring over them and pulling out the keepers. I sent my 'sponsor' for the trip a portfolio of all of the keepers. I hope he likes them. I'll share some of them out here after he is OK.
Here are some I shot while exploring around Phnom Penh.
Out my hotel window...
My Tuk Tuk driver... I somehow got the same guy everyday.
I always find one of the best ways to explore a city is to just go for a walk...
Phnom Penh is a fascinating city with scenes unfolding in front of me at every turn...
Monk House No. 22...
I stopped and was looking at this school...
This monk came out to talk to me and walked me around to show me the work they were doing there... They were giving kids a safe place to study and play. A group of kids were there after class learning to type through some computer programs. It was very impressive.
I watched the English class for a few minutes. Everyone kept trying to talk to me during the class.
I'm huge in Cambodia...
This little cat followed me around for a while...
You see these all over the sides of the roads in Cambodia... this is actually a make shift Gas Station for bikes.
This is one of my favorite pictures I took last week. I stopped and chatted with this monk for a while. I think it has such a soft and tranquil feeling to it.
I have a lot of photos coming so make sure to check back. Thanks for stopping by today...
