Taizoin Temple
One of the temples in Myoshinji that allows visitors is Taizoin Temple. It is one of the oldest sub-temples and was built in 1404. It consists of 3 beautiful gardens and a cemetery. There are so many temples in Kyoto to find and explore. I prefer to find the quite mellow ones that allow me to peacefully stroll around while taking photographs. Today’s configuration: Leica M6 with various Leica lenses shot on Kodak Ektar film.
The borrowed view...after visiting many temples in Kyoto I really began to appreciate 'the framed view'. It is unlikely I will ever have one of these in Tokyo.
The entrance to the first garden is met with a massive hanging Cherry Blossom tree... This must look beautiful in spring! I didn't shoot the Cherry Blossoms much this year in Tokyo but I think next year I might need to in Kyoto.
There is a beautiful strolling garden to walk through...
Hanging wisteria in the gardens at Taizoin Temple...
Peacefully reflecting in the garden...
Thanks for stopping by today...
