An evening at Heaven
I went to check the new Yamada Denki in Shinjuku during lunch yesterday... I am still amazed that there is room for another 8 story electronics shop in Shinjuku...but there is. Today’s Configuration: Leica M9 with a Noctilux 50mm f/.95 with a 1.4x magnifier. I also shot my FujiFilm x100.
There is a glass sensor when entering the elevator... I think they must have had a lot of people walking into it as they have a 'don't walk into this' sign on it.
Surprise... I went for sushi for lunch. If anyone ever took a hit out on me the hitman won't have a hard time finding me as I am such a creature of habit.
Eating a little raw ginger... helps kills any germs when eating sushi.
Great skys over Tokyo this week...
Subway is starting Steak Sandwiches in Japan!
Hot, hot, hot...
I went with some of my co-workers to Heaven in Roppongi for dinner last night... this place is so yummy. I wish I took more food photos...but it was too good to wait.
We ate so much great food;
- grilled mushrooms - fried scallop - shrimp with broccoli and mayo - asparagus wrapped with bacon - black pork - garlic steak - cheese potato - dashimaki tamago - and probably the world's smallest piece of cheese cake
All washed down with too much beer. They have the best tomato salad. Very cold, very sweet, with salt and a little mayo sauce...
Someone was trying to use my M9 but struggled to get the focus right... I still think it is a cool photo.
I am traveling to New Delhi on Sunday and then to Singapore the following week so today is my final day in my current office... I look forward to getting a new view.
