Found Frames
With all of my work, travel and personal projects I feel like I am going 1,000 miles an hour lately. I was in Seoul last week for a few days. Thankfully I'll be in Tokyo for a few days but then I have trips coming up to London, San Francisco, and Seoul scheduled. I'm sure I'll squeeze something else in there. The one thing I love about shooting film is discovering images you forgot you took or what I like to call found frames...
Today's Configuration: Leica MP3 with various Leica lenses on Portra 400
Trouble in Shibuya...
One Saturday I kept seeing women in pink yukatas all over my neighborhood...
Make sure you tie down your dragon. They always try to escape otherwise.
I met up with these three lovely ladies who were interviewing me for an upcoming magazine article. I have never been interviewed by 3 people at once before. It was very cool experience. I'll share additional details on the interview when it is appropriate...
All of my books have finally shipped! I'm sure I'll have a few shipping issues to deal with but it feels good to be this far along in this project. One really cool piece of news I have to share is that my books will be on sale at Tokyo Photo 2014 this weekend! This is THE photography event of the year each year. You can check out my blog posts from Tokyo Photo 2013 and Tokyo Photo 2012. This is very exciting for me.
This week my Facebook and Twitter streams have been full of images from people letting me know they got their book and sharing some pictures with me. It makes me very happy and satisfied to hear the warm words from people after all of the hard work I have put into creating this book. Someone even made a very cool unboxing video. Here are a few of the images I got for you to see:
