Full Speed Ahead
I just landed in San Francisco off the red eye from Tokyo. It's amazing how getting a plane and sleeping is just second nature to me. Of course I went to bed at 11PM and woke up at 2am. I stay awake until 4am and finally fell asleep again for 2 hours. The first few days are always painful. It's time to shake off my 6 week vacation and go full speed ahead into work. I'll be in San Francisco and LA area for the next month. I am going to miss my family so much. It's hard that's part of a new job.
I'll be pulling together a photowalk in San Francisco next weekend (the 14th or 15th) so keep a look out for it. I am thinking of pulling one together as well the following weekend in LA. Let me know if anyone has interest.
Here are a few film shots from my trip to Kichijoji a few weeks ago...
Today's configuration: Leica M3P with various Leica lenses shot on Portra 400 film.
Maybe it's just me but dogs should walk...
All this can be yours for $1,900,000 USD!
Police safely coned off...
Off to work...
I'l be working in Roppongi again so I can sit outside and enjoy this spot from time to time...
I've been trying to find a case for my Leica MP-3 and have given up. There doesn't seem to be a case for that camera. I guess it's a pretty small market to develop a product for as the MP-3 has some specific characteristics that make other cases not fit on it.
I was able to get my local cobbler to make some pads to put around the eye holes for the strap so the strap doesn't scratch the camera.
