On a Mission
I am in the middle of a two week trip from Tokyo, to Palm Springs, to San Francisco, to Tampa and now need to detour to Sydney on my way back to Tokyo. A long trip! I'm on a mission! I shot this last week in Tokyo... I love the contrast of the two modes of transportation...
Today's Configuration: Leica M Monochrom with a Noctilux 50mm f/0.95
I had the privilege of hearing 4 Star General Stanley McCrystal speak on leadership while in Palm Springs...
We had a party one evening and had Karaoke with a full blown band... it was a lot of fun. I sang 'Like a virgin' with my Japanese colleagues. It was a ton of fun.
Meet Tyson...
I met up with Tyson, my good friend Kevin who I shot with last time I was in San Francisco and Bill and we went shooting in the Mission in San Francisco.
So funny... If you are going to disparage a group at least spell it correctly.
I shot this doorway a few times. I found it fascinating until three large men came out and said we don't appreciate people taking photos of the building. It turned out to be a Medical Marijuana dispensary.
This sign might have been helping a little earlier...
I couldn't find the other sign...
This is one of my favorite shots of the day...

The Tenderloin...
This guy was insistent to show us around... He said he was a photographer without a camera.
A great find of shadows...
San Francisco MOMA...
I love that they allow photography in there. If I was at a museums in Japan I would have been karate chopped!
I discovered a great new photographer... Billy Monk. Awesome photos of the Catacombs Club Cape Town, South Africa.
Thanks for stopping by today...
