Fisherman's Wharf
I love picking up rolls of film from the lab. I am always pleasantly surprised with images that I forgot I have taken. Here is a roll I started shooting the day I left for San Francisco and when I went for a walk in Fisherman's Wharf when I landed... There is a big festival in the town I live in Tokyo so I am looking forward to a lot of shooting this weekend. I love the festivals I am able to find in Jiyugaoka. I love getting to shoot the Matsuri every year.
Today's configuration: Leica M6-J, Portra 400, Elmar 50mm f/2.8
Fisherman's Wharf... I love this area of San Francisco. It seems almost timeless as you walk around here.
I don't eat a lot of fast food but I did hit In-N-Out Burger in a moment of weakness. All I can say is...it is very good. Order off the menu - Animal Style.
I like how this one turned out...
I miss Clam Chowder...
Surprisingly I don't miss lobster... the thought of drawn butter really turns me off after I have adjusted to the delicate way Japanese prepare seafood.
I sat and watched the band One Leg Chuck play for a while. They reminded me of the band Staind. I ended up buying their CD...very talented.
The Rock!
A very creepy fortune teller machine...
OK this is ShootTokyo so let's mix cultures...たばこ (Cigarettes) and Coca Cola...yum!
Thanks for stopping by today...
