Ginza in Leica color!
I had to run some errands in Ginza the other morning and took a few moments to capture a bit of Ginza at Christmas. I love Ginza this time of the year as the stores do such as great job with the window displays. I happened to walk by Mikimoto's Flagship Store in Ginza as the employees were decorating the window with this year's Christmas Pearls. Mikimoto first opened their store in Ginza in 1899! If you haven't been to Mikimoto before it is worth checking out what some of the worlds most beautiful, and expensive, pearls look like. I thought these photos really did a good job of displaying color and contrast that the Leica can produce. Leica M9, Summilux 35mm f/1.4 ASPH, 1/30, f/4.0, 35mm, ISO160
