Believe it or not I lost my 2nd Mac hard drive in two weeks! There is where my obsessive personally works in my favor; with hourly incremental backups I experienced exactly zero data loss. The only hassle is the 10 minute cab ride to the Apple Store. Same as last time, let Time Machine recovery the Mac overnight and your Mac is restored to the exact same condition in the morning. God I love Apple. It just doesn't get any easier than this. How often do you think Microsoft hears that after someone loses a hard drive and needs to recover?
Karma really isn't working in my favor lately, let's review the latest toll of things that broke in the last two weeks:
- Audi S4 (broken down on side of highway)
- Canon 5D (sensor died)
- MacBook Pro #1 (complete hard drive failure)
- Bank Cards (demagnetized)
- MacBook Pro #2 (complete hard drive failure)
