Jiyugaoka Matsuri
After my excessive lunch yesterday I decided to go for a walk to burn some of it off. I didn't realize the local temples where having their annual 'matsuri' so the streets where full of lots of things to photograph... Today’s Configuration: Leica M9 with a Noctilux 50mm f/0.95 and Summilux 35mm f/1.4. FujiFilm x100.
It's a bit hard to explain a Matsuri if you haven't experienced one but basically people gather in town squares to socialize, drink and occasionally carry this float around... I'll let the pictures try to explain it better than I am.
It started to rain a bit but thankfully passed quickly...
...poor cat.
I saw this little boy, no older than 3, walking around by himself. He was extremely adventurous. His father was watching him from a distance. I was surprised how fearless he was.
