Lansdowne Street
Today's posting is the first leg of this Saturday's Fenway Park to Faneuil Hall Photo Walk in Boston. We will start at Fenway Park, head down Newbury Street, through the Boston Public Garden and Boston Common, and end at Faneuil Hall / Quincy Market. If you are interested in joining the quickly growing group... please drop me an email or leave a comment so I can invite you to Google+ so you can get additional updates as we get closer. Here are the details of the walk:
We still depart from the Cask n Flagon (62 Brookline Avenue) on the corner of Brookline and Lansdowne at 12PM sharp.
12-1PM: Walk down Lansdowne Street and photograph the scene outside the Red Sox Game vs. Oakland A's at Fenway Park (starting at 1:10PM).
1-2PM: Walk down Newbury Street and photograph the people, shopping and sites. We met some really interesting people yesterday.
2-2:30PM: Explore the Public Garden; swan boats, musicians, nature and swing by Cheers Bar.
2:30-3PM: Break: We will stop for a well deserved break at Starbucks Coffee on the corner of Beacon and Charles.
3-4PM: Walk through Boston Common down School Street shooting the scenes in the Park and the streets of Boston.
4-5PM: Explore Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market shooting Street Performers, Shops, Shop Keepers, and all that makes this place so fascinating.
5PM until... Ned Devine's Irish Pub. We will take over Ned Devine's for eating and drinking.
Today’s Configuration: Leica M9 with a Summilux 35mm f/1.4.
This will be our starting/meeting point... I expect that the streets will be packed. Lots of action on the street to capture with Red Sox fans filling the streets and getting into Fenway. There might a an A's fan or two as well...
Pop in this bar if you get a chance... Very cool view of Fenway.
There was a crowd waiting to get seats for Bob Dylan gig at House of Blues...
Dylan's Tour Bus...
I love taking photos of signs as you can tell...
...and rust.
This poor girl was moving and carrying a huge bundle of boxes... Trying to keep her spirits up.
More rent-a-bikes... I need to bring this concept to Tokyo...
This message I get...
...but then why provide benches? Seems counterintuitive.
