Las Vegas Photowalk
Last time I was in Las Vegas I had no time to capture this magnificent city. The only shot I got was this mountain range from out my hotel window at the Wynn. I am heading to Las Vegas this morning and I am hoping to change that this trip. I will have Saturday and Sunday free and plan to do a bit of shooting this time.
This time I will be holding a Las Vegas Photowalk on Saturday February 8th. These are always a lot of fun. If you haven’t been on a photowalk before it is a great opportunity to get out and socialize with like minded people. If you an experienced photographer you can share what you know. If you are just learning, then there will be lots of people to learn from. Photographers of all levels are welcome.
When: Saturday February 8th
Time: 2:30PM
Where: We will meet at Atomic Liquors and explore Freemont East. Perhaps as the lights go down we can head over to the strip and photograph some of the fabulous neon of Vegas. After a few hours when we start to lose light we will find a place to grab a bite and a few drinks.
Gear: Pack whatever you are comfortable shooting with. Remember, the more gear you carry the less photographs you actually take. We will be walking so don’t pack too heavy. I’ll be shooting my Leica M9-P and my M-Monochrom with a few lenses.
