San Francisco Photowalk
I will be going to San Francisco for business and when I travel I like to hold photowalks in the city I am in as it is a great way to see the city and meet up with a lot of people at once. I have held past photowalks in Tokyo, Sydney, Beijing, Singapore, Hong Kong and Boston. I held photowalks in San Francisco in June of last year and this May. I even held a theme based one for Film Shooters. This time I will be holding a San Francisco Photowalk on Saturday November 16th at 1PM. These are always a lot of fun. If you haven’t been on a photowalk before it is a great opportunity to get out and socialize with like minded people. If you an experienced photographer you can share what you know. If you are just learning, then there will be lots of people to learn from. Photographers of all levels are welcome.
When: Saturday November 16th
Time: 1PM
Where: We will meet at the Ferry Building in the Financial District. We will be shooting in and around the Financial District and China Town. After a few hours when we start to lose light we will find a place to grab a bite and a few drinks.
Gear: Pack whatever you are comfortable shooting with. Remember, the more gear you carry the less photographs you actually take. We will be walking so don’t pack too heavy. I’ll be shooting my Leica M9-P or my M-Monochrom with a few lenses.
