Needing Inspiration
I haven't had enough time to get out and shoot trying to balance everything I have going on in my life with work, family and travel. Perhaps I'm needing inspiration. Perhaps I need to launch a 365 project or something to get my creative juices flowing again. I was able to get out last weekend and shoot a little film with my new Leica MP. The MP is a a very simple and clean film camera. MP stand for mechanical perfection.
I ended up trading my Leica M6J for an MP. I had a friend who was interested in my M6J. I shoot my 28mm lens a lot and the .85 viewfinder on the M6J didn't work for me. It was a good trade for both of us to get what we want. I'll be doing a review of my M6J on my ShootTokyo YouTube Channel shortly.
I thought this kid was cute sleeping waiting for his train to be repaired.

I'm amazed what people in Japan line up for. First it's Krispy Creme, then Popcorn and now Pancakes. I'm not a waiter.

Box your fat away...
I still need to stop in here. I am fascinated on what a Daihatstu repair shop turned bar is like.
Now this is the proper use of cones. Please make sure you study up on what improper uses look like...
I love all of these little converted vans in Japan... I need to think of a film themed one.
My quite little Jiyugaoka was flood with people last weekend for a matsuri...
Apparently there was concern about people running on the train tracks. It does get pretty wild here...
My ShootTokyo Book is available and shooting world wide. Get yours...
