For the next 21 days
I'm back in Tokyo after a short trip to Manila. I will be in Tokyo for 21 straight days! I know you are missing Tokyo photos here. I am missing taking them. Here are a few to hold you over for now... Today's Configuration: Leica M Monochrome with a Summicron 28mm f/2.0
I've been driving to work a lot lately and have missed this long straight way to the station in the morning...but really enjoying my drive.
Amazed all of these little film shops remain in Japan...
A ill chosen placement for the sword...
Mayumi and I were able to meet up with my good friend John and his family when they were in Tokyo recently. We went to the Nobu for lunch. I love this place. You know a restaurant is good when you can order something very simple and its amazing. I had simple soba with negitoromaki. It didn't disappoint.
I still think it is the yummiest place on earth....
Manila...
I was trying to see if I have enough photos to pull together a blog post and then remembered I have been shooting some pretty cool photos while traveling lately. A bit different than my usually posts but I hope you enjoy anyways.
Meet Jasper, Tony and Ed... Three super hard working guys.
Meet Kurt Hugo Schneider and Sam Tsui two very talented musicians who racked up a staggering 1.6 billion views on YouTube. Here is a great example of their amazing music. Kurt can literally make music on anything. They were kind enough to pose for a few of my flash mug shots while we were in Bangkok together.
I also took this photo of YouTuber and teen idol Bethany Mota while we were in Bangkok. She is a super star in every sense with more followers on social media than I could possibly count. If you don't know who she is ask a teen age girl in your family. She posted this photo I took of her below on Instagram and got 381,000 likes!
I was also lucky enough to meet Apl.de.ap from The Black Eyed Peas while in Manila last week. I am a huge fan of their music so was super excited to meet him. What a super cool guy! He was accompanied by singer Jessica Reynoso. She is going to be huge one day...
Thanks for stopping by today...
