Clearing my head
I have been getting home super late at night for the past week. Last night I wanted to go for a walk and clear my head after getting home. I was also really hungry so I went in search of something to eat. I haven't really given my new Summilux 50mm a good workout so I figured I could kill a few birds with one stone. I forgot how nice it is to walk around a quite area late at night and shoot some photos. It is a habit I used to have that I really want to get back into. I forgot how therapeutic it can be.
I am in search of the world's great photo. I am looking to unwind and give myself some thinking time alone in my head. I am someone who never stops so this time is pretty special to me...
Today's Configuration: Leica M9-P with a Summilux Black Chrome 50mm f/1.4
Jiyugaoka Station.
Since it was after 11PM many of the places in my little small town were closed. Jiyugaoka is a beautiful charming little town but one of the downsides it is doesn't have the 24 hours a day every day of the week vibe that some parts of Tokyo has so your options are limited late at night. That said, I wouldn't change it for the world.
I did find some Yakitori places...
and Ramen Shops... but I was looking for something a bit lighter so I skipped them and focused on my photography.
I ended up picking up some pre-boilded eggs and bread at 7-Eleven and had toast and eggs. I love that you can buy pre-boiled eggs at the convenience stores in Japan. It's very convenient. Toast and boiled eggs is my default meal when I want something light and don't know what to eat.
Push bicycles and traffic cones. Ready to fight whatever crime comes their way...
Perhaps I need to revive my reporting on this growing problem...
Thanks for stopping by today...
