Unproductive Weekend
I had an unproductive weekend, sort of. Netflix just launched in Japan last week. It's a little hard to say that since I worked on Saturday but stay with me. As someone who tries to be as productive as possible at all times it's embarrassing to say I binged watched the entire first season of Orange is the new Black since the middle of last week. The show is fantastic. Glad I have two more seasons ahead of me. Sadly I don't think my Netflix Japan account will work while I am traveling. I have been shooting my A7S recently. I want to shoot more video with it for my YouTube channel when I get some time. I need to figure out how to make it part of my routine. I have so much traveling some up I should be able to get some good shooting in. I head to Sydney tomorrow. Jakarata the following week. Then I have trips to Mumbai, Hong Kong, Taipei, Jakarta again, Ho Chi Min City, Singapore and San Francisco.
Today's Configuration: Sony A7S with a Summicron 28mm f/2.0 and a Summilux 50mm f/1.4

I am growing to really like the bokeh on the Summilux 50mm f/14. It's different than the Noctilux but a much more portable lens.
It's amazing these two spaces could generate up to $250K a year. Even with 50-60% occupancy you are still making $150K a year. I always see these and wonder if they are a good investment. I guess it would depend on the mortgage, franchises cost and maintenance fees. There are some spaces you go by and they are 100% full all the time. I shot this on a Saturday morning in Roppongi so these were not but I image these are completely full during the week.
I had a pretty busy weekend with work on Saturday and some family things on Sunday. I didn't get to shoot my local matsuri this year but that's OK as I shot it the past few years.
I was really in the mood for some unhealthy food. Tired end to a long week as I worked Saturday this week. I was thinking ramen but instead when for mabudofu...
Anyone who reads my Instagram knows how much I love mabudofu! I'm pretty sure it's the best food ever created. If you haven't had before it's tofu in a spicy sauce with pork (and sometimes only vegetables).
Thanks for stopping by today...
