Headshots
It has been a long week in Dublin. I arrived on early Wednesday midday. I did really well with jetlag until yesterday. I went out shooting around London and stopped by my hotel late afternoon to freshen up and relax before dinner. I ended up falling asleep around 4PM and woke up around 12:30 or so. Taking an 8 hour nap in the afternoon is really not good for your jet lag. Amateur move... I was starving and there was nothing in my area for dinner. I ended up finding a pizza place near the bar/nightlife and grabbed a slice of NY style pizza. Pizza isn't the best late night food but I was hungry and it was really 'morning' for me so I think it was OK.
I went back to my room and watched YouTube until 4 or 5am. I watched a bunch of documentaries and ended up watching one on a serial killer in Long Island. Somewhere just after I faded off to sleep someone started pounding on my door. It scared the absolute hell out of me. It turned out to be two drunk girls and a guy looking for their friends room down the hall. I think it was 4:30 or so and I was wide away again. I finally fell back asleep and got a few more hours. Hopefully I am back on the track sleep wise.
While in the office one of my co-workers asked if I could take some head shots. I am always happy to take head shots. I can easily recognize shots I have taken and I love seeing photos I have taken being used as profiles Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or corporate networks. I don't carry any additional gear such a flashes or reflectors with me while I am traveling so I make due with natural light and try to find flattering locations.
I wanted to go outside but it was extremely windy so I had to shoot these inside. I did my best to use natural light and avoid the internal lights.

I enjoyed my $10 Headshots project and taking a headshot of YouTuber Ami Yamato when she was in Japan so if you are someone I know don't be shy about asking me to take your head shot.
Thanks for stopping by today...
