Meeting Ami Yamato
In this day and age there are a lot of people that you know from online that you haven't met in real life. It is just the way the world works and is so interconnected now. I was so excited this week to bump into one of my favorite people from the web - Ami Yamato. She walked by me and I instantly knew it was her. I was surprised to see her in Tokyo as she moved to London years ago. If you don't know Ami she is well known on YouTube for making amazing and clever videos or as she puts it 'I make videos that confuse people'. I have been watching them for years. Making videos can be really difficult but Ami kindly shares 'How I make my videos' with everyone very openly which is really helpful for others getting started. She also clears up misconceptions about London and Japan.
She was kind enough to stop and pose for one of my headshots.
Today's Configuration: Leica M Monochrom with a Noctilux 50mm f/0.95.
...and she even posed for a selfie with me!
Thanks Ami! It was great to finally meet you! Thanks for stopping by today...
