Kitakata Ramen
The next leg in my trip in Fukushima was to Kitakata. It is very famous for their Ramen that you can get any time of the day or night. There are over 120 shops in this small town serving ramen so of course we needed to stop and have some ramen for lunch!
Today's Configuration: Leica M9-P with a Noctilux 50mm f/0.95 and a Ricoh GR.
This was probably the best ramen I have ever had. I enjoy ramen from time to time in Tokyo but often it can be very heavy. This ramen was actually very light. I hope I can get back here again and eat some more. I might need to find somewhere in Tokyo this weekend to have some ramen...
They love their ramen so much they even have a ramen shrine! (not kidding)
You can stop in and say a few prayers to ensure you have a good ramen future...
You can 'tie off' your bad ramen fortunes so they don't come true...
and if you ever wanted to know what it was like to sit in a giant ramen bowl...this is your place!
Here are all of the variations of ramen available...
I was having withdrawls as I haven't been in a camera store for a few days...sadly this one was closed.
Thanks for stopping by today...
