Shibuya Flow

Time Lapse videos are actually very easy to make. I had a few people ask me how I made it so I will share how I did it. I still have a lot to learn but here is the approach I took:
I shot this with my Canon 5DMKII with Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 and Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 lens mounted on a Manfrotto Tripod. I release the shutter with a Canon Timer Remote Controller TC-80N3 acting as my interval-meter. The time lapse is comprised of 1,875 photographs shot at 2 second intervals. I set my camera on manual mode, 1/30 of a second shutter speed, ISO400 and at various apertures between f/4.5 and f/8 for a proper exposure. For me the main thing was to have 1/30 of a second as the shutter speed so there is a slight blur in the subjects as this makes the video flow smoothly. Once you have your files, you can simply compile them in an application like QuickTime Pro.
When you make these you have a lot of free time...so I snapped a few shots with my Leica M9...
