Sleepy Monday
It is a sleepy Monday morning for me. I stayed up way too late working on my 10 things I learnt from shooting daily shooting post. I am glad I wrote it as it was nice to reflect. I wish I had more time as I have more reflections to share. I'll need to write a Part 2 to this...If you liked this or want me to write about other similar topics feel free to leave a comment. I take requests... What a beautiful day in Tokyo today. The weather is a bit strange as it was raining earlier in the morning but you would never be able to tell based on the sky this afternoon.
Note: All of today's shot were taken with a Leica M9 with a 50mm f/0.95 with a ND2 filter (my ND6 is still on back order) @0.95, iso160 and various shutter speeds.
I was thinking as I passed this today leaving the office that is surprised me that we still have visible earthquake damage in my office. Maybe there is a shortage big glass panels? Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
I am glad I never got into Final Fantasy. With my personality I won't sleep for a month...
Still trying to seduce me...
Oh no! American advertising coming to Japan. "People of Japan: These are not a snacks, it is a meal, well actually based on the calories count they are meals".
OK...now this one looks awesome, I will admit. I will probably try this before the week is out... I have that Guns and Roses song stuck in my head "If you have a hunger for what you see, you'll take it eventually..."
I stopped off in Harajuku on my way home tonight...
I was going to walk down the path to Meji Jingu but it was closed....I didn't realize shrines close.
The Smurfs are staging a come back in Harajuku...
OK this thing is creepy...
Lonely iPhones....
Did we not learn anything from Prince when he changed his name to only a symbol...?
I love how Japan can spruce up a construction site in a nice area. Let's put up white walls so you can ignore the fact that we are tearing down and building up a new one and look at these pictures of puppies this fine art picture of what this place will look like soon.
Interesting window display...
My taxi awaits...
..and yesterday I was able to get out and have a quick date with my wife Mayumi before going house hunting. Below is taken by Mayumi at f/0.95....pretty impressive I think. It is hard to get eyes sharp at this depth of field.
