Slowing Down
Sometimes we are all running too fast. I try to find days where my schedule isn't as insane as usual and slow down and enjoy my commute to and from the office. I try to leave 20 or 30 minutes earlier and leave a bit more time for my commute home so I can slow down and observe the world around me. It is always interesting to me how much more you notice when slowing down just a bit.
Today's configuration: Leica M Monochrom 28mm f/2.0
I saw this kid skate boarding in front of Shibuya Station and decided to sit and watch him for a bit...
I love all of the extremely old vending machines I stumble on in Japan. When I first saw this I didn't image it was still in use but it is...
I love construction sites in Japan. Houses are within inches of each other. They drop tarps on all sides and then this machine rolls in and guts it. It makes for an interesting scene.
Inside Kasumigaseki station.
I decided to head home via a different station so the walk from my office to Yurakucho gave me some time to observe the world around me...
I noticed there were some photographs on display at the Tokyo International Forum. There is a very cool set of images on display from one of the press clubs until 2/7. Stop by if you are in the area.
I walk by this place all the time but don't often stop in. It was freshing to experience this place again.
The architecture is fantastic in here...
