Still in San Francisco
I have been in San Francisco for a little more than 2.5 weeks. This is a very long trip for me and I'm really tired. I'll head to LA this afternoon. I have flown through LA many times but I have never been into LA. I have a lot of work to catch up on but hopefully I will have a chance to explore as well. I want to make sure I get to check out the iconic Leica Store LA. One day while in San Francisco we had a food tour. We got to taste some of the best food in Chinatown and North Beach.
Today's Configuration: Leica M9-P with various lenses
Last weekend I was able to get some downtime and catch up with my friend Kevin for lunch in the Mission. I love eating in the mission.
After lunch I held a small photowalk on Haight Street. I was thinking of holding one while in LA as well but I have so much to catch up on and after 2.5 weeks on the road I am really tired. I have been so busy the past few weeks...
Duncan joined my photowalk with his Dad. I have a lot of respect for anyone in High School these days who still shoot film cameras...
Haight Street...
I thought this was a smart way to sell a bike...
A huge record store. I wish I had room for records in Tokyo. The sound just can't be beat.
One of the guys on the photowalk was trying to find an A. He was trying to spell his names with letters. He dropped off before we found this. I bet he wishes he continued along...
This guy was having a bad day...
I love the Transamerica Building...
I had brunch at my favorite place 'Groove'. I love hitting this place on the weekends for breakfast or lunch when I am in town.
My friend and previous co-worker Shigeno-san joined me! It was great to see him.
We had dinner with my friend Shahan as well. If I put my Boston accent back on I would say 'He is wicked smart!'. Did you see Moneyball? He actually had that job before...
I was able to catch up with my friend John Hall while in San Francisco. He was kind enough to lend his photography skills to make a new headshot for me. I'm still trying to decide which one I'll use. Any favorites?
Thanks for stopping by today...
