Sunday in Nakameguro
An afternoon walk on Sunday in Nakameguro and Gagukei-Daigaku... Let's start with the temple next to my house...
Atlas Tower in Nakameguro...I bet they feel the shakes we have been having lately.
Political Campaign posters in Nakameguro.
We are looking for a new place to live and I took the train down to Gakugei-Daigaku to check out the area.
Japan doesn't have a noise ordinance law so there are often big vans with huge speakers announcing new record releases, political campaigns, communism and all sorts of things. It is pretty amazing that people are allow to be this annoying legally.
This group was protesting these vans.
Good thing.
They were doing it using a loud speaker to do it.
Bad thing.
Maybe they are missing the point of their own protest...
I didn't love the area so back to Nakameguro...
More disrespect for the 'No Parking' signs for bikes...
This looks hot!
I needed to get my hair cut and thought I would try this place...but they were closed. I found a 1,000 yen shop that works 'Barber's Hours' down the street...
Another Vespa... they are everywhere this weekend.
I finally found Cow Books! Cool shop!
Andre the Giant does have a posse in Nakameguro.
I stopped by The Impossible Project Space to see their new display. I love this shop - very cool!
The Polariod SX-70... it's very cool. I am thinking of ordering one in black. The film is a bit expensive and I think Kai will just want to keep shooting off pictures. I will add this to wish list along with the Fuji Film x100.
Cat-Dog...
Making the world a better place...
No respect for the 'No Jaywalking' sign.
This is the 3rd Tattoo place I passed today...maybe this is a sign (no pun intended).
and another Vespa, maybe the sign is I should buy a Vespa?
I stopped off to buy some cakes for another 'Cake Date' with Mayumi... I really don't want to get fat so I will off set this with a pre-date 10K run. It should keep the world in balance.
I also stopped at Ito Flowers to pick up some flowers as well...
Now I need to go run and earn my cake...
